Today was the day that it all ended for us in fantasy football. We had high hopes of making it to the playoffs but poor performances by both of our quarterbacks ended up holding us back (Gus Ferrotte and Jay Cutler). These QB’s have been pretty good both throughout the season and historically but not this week! If you haven’t had the chance to play fantasy sports, you should give it a try. It is free and really makes watching all sports a lot more exciting. Last year was our first year playing and we absolutely loved it; so we came back for round two. This year we made better choices in key positions like running back and quarter back and ended up doing okay, but our loss today sealed our fate as playing the rest of the season “just for fun”.
We are already looking forward to next year and hope that our continued learning of football players and how fantasy works will pay off as we compete with our friends.
